The Border Reader is a small secondhand bookshop set in a tranquil and picturesque spot between the Eildon Hills and the River Tweed, about two miles from Melrose in the Scottish Borders.
We have a relatively modest (3 to 4000) but very select stock of books, which includes: quality fiction
wide range of non fiction
poetry, philosophy, the arts
academic
as well as classical music CDs
Also within the old dairy farmhouse you will find a farm shop, a cafe serving light lunches, home baked cakes and a wide variety of teas and coffees, as well as furniture, antiques and local arts and crafts showrooms |
